She has three other daughters, but they are only mentioned. She currently teacher to her children, nieces, and nephews in harrier ways. She is a down-to-earth woman. She is a strict instructor albeit a good one.
Biography
Early life
As a member of a family of harriers, the Qais family, Zahra was expected to be a harrier from a very young age, along with her brother, Isman, and any other siblings that they have. At some point she married Macarin Acalon, another harrier, and had five children.
The Events of 1039
In 1039 KF when her only son Pasco dances his cousins up into the air in response to bullying by Vanido Acalon, his cousin, Zahra is displeased in that Pasco did not inform her or his grandfather, Edoar Acalon, about having magic. After Pasco brings Lady Sandry to help him, she greets the lady with firmness.
Zahra soon comes around to the idea that her son is not a harrier-mage, and maybe will not turn out to be a harrier. However, his magic can be used for some good in terms of harrying, as her son danced three mass murderers into an unmagic net.
