Yngvar (pronounced ING-vahr) was a Tortallan commoner of the 5th century HE. He was a sergeant with the army, and was assigned to guard Haven during the Scanran War.

Sergeant Yngvar was a bit kinder than other Haven sergeants, like Vidur and Oluf. He often had morning watch while stationed at the refugee camp. He survived along with Merric of Hollyrose when the camp was attacked in June of 460 HE, but he was wounded[1].
