Wyverns are a pernicious species of immortals who often attacked Tortall during the Immortals War.
Wyverns are giant, winged, legless lizards who breath a yellow fog that gives humans a dry, long-lasting cough and makes the eyes burn and blur.[1]
As distant, lesser cousins of dragons, wyverns must obey dragons of any age. The dragonet Skysong was instrumental in protecting Tortall from wyvern attacks druing the Immortals War.
