Sir Voelden of Tirrsmont (pronounced VEHL-dehn of TEERZ-mohnt) is a Tortallan knight in the 5th century HE. He is of the conservative faction and friends with knights such as Joren of Stone Mountain, and Ansil of Groten.
After Keladry of Mindelan beat Ansil of Groten in a jousting match, Sir Voelden challenged Keladry. At first she refused, but then acquiesced, naming the sum of coins she would receive if Voelden lost. During the match, Sir Voelden tried to run her through with his lance, causing Peachblossom to try and attack him over the railing. Keladry, who was shocked and angered that he would try and kill her unannounced—a dishonorable action—continued to joust against him even when offered an out by the monitor. Kel unhorsed him and threatened to carve her initials between his eyes if he did not yield. He did so.
He only appeared as a minor antagonist in Squire, but was antagonistic since he did try and kill her.
