Uusoae (pronounced oo-SOW-ay) is a divine entity in the Tortallan Universe. She is not exactly a goddess of the main pantheon. She is a sibling of the Great Gods and is a child of Father Universe and Mother Flame.

Influence

Territorial designations

Uusoae is the Queen of the Chaos Realms. She is the goddess of disrule, uncertainty, discord, destruction, and imagination. These lead to change, new growth, and new opportunities.

Her Gatekeepers are Discord and Violence.

Sacred people, animals, and magic

By nature, all humans could be considered sacred to Uusoae, with their pushes for change and new ideas. The imagination and creations of humans give more power to Uusoae. Anything that grows and changes reality could be considered under her influence as well.

Personality and traits

As the Queen of Chaos, it is in her nature to make constant war with her siblings, the Great Gods. Even though she is Chaos, she is also necessary, as without her no change can happen, and the balance between order and discord would vanish.

According to Enzi, the river crocodile god, Uusoae continuously plans how she will devour the world, and the gods hold her at bay. He warned Numair Salmalín, not to to underestimate her.[1]

Involvement in the Mortal Realms

During the Immortals War, she has vessels in the enemies of Tortall and decides to try and take the country by force.

After her defeat, she is sentenced to exile by her parents, Father Universe and Mother Flame.
