The Tusaine War was waged between Tortall and Tusaine in 435 HE,[1] and concerned the territory around the River Drell. The war ended with a treaty that greatly favored the Tortallan side after Prince Jonathan took the brothers Hilam and Jemis as hostages; these were King Ain's own brothers. King Ain gladly signed the contract and treaty in exchange for his brothers.
