Biography
Teaching
When Numair had what they call a "flare"—a sudden burst of magic—both Sebo and Master Cosmas intervened in order to stop the classroom from flooding.[1]
Sebo disapproved of Numair taking one of Master Bladwyn's spell books Bladwyn's Book, which was far too advanced for a ten year old.
During lessons with Numair, Sebo would go to the citrus garden and call to Enzi, god of the river crocodiles.[2] Many of her lessons required exploring within the river itself. She used a spell that combined air and sun magic that allowed them to breathe underwater and stay warm. Sebo advised Arram to keep their interactions with Enzi a secret, as most of the instructors didn't believe in animal gods.
Physical Description
Master Sebo was an elderly black woman. She often wore clothing with clashing colors and patterns. For example, on time she wore a yellow and black head wrap, and a purple body wrap printed with green and yellow flowers.[3]
