The Saren Civil War was waged in the late 430s HE in Sarain between Adigun jin Wilima and nobles loyal to him, and noble rebels like Dusan zhir Anduo.

Saren rebels wanted to overthrow Lord Adigun, the warlord of Sarain and the jin Wilima dynasty. The war created a mess of the country and many people tried to flee, including Princess Thayet, Duchess of Camau and Thanhyien and her servant Buriram Tourakom. Lord Dusan wanted to capture Princess Thayet to marry her in order to seize power through the daughter and legitimize his claim, as Thayet could not rule in her own right.

The civil war ended when a Saren noble—not Lord Dusan or any of those who tried to kill Thayet—took the throne. His reign ushered in a new era of peace, as he married a K'miri woman in order to create an effective marital alliance.
