Roger II of Conté is the king of Tortall in the timeframe of the Provost's Dog trilogy. He appears in Terrier and may appear in the following two books of the trilogy. Roger's first wife was Alysy of Conté, but after her tragic death, he remarried. Queen Jessamine of Conté is his second wife and mother of his heir.
