Quedanga (pronounced kay-DAHN-gah) is a raka woman of the Copper Isles in the 5th century HE. She lived in Rajmuat where she worked as the housekeeper for the Balitang townhouse. She was also an integral member of the raka conspiracy, dedicated to dethroning the cruel Rittevon royal family and placing a queen of their own blood on the throne. Quedanga was master of communications for the conspiracy, and was one of the inner circle along with Ulasim Dodeka, Chenaol, Fesgao Yibenu, and then later, Alianne Crow.

Biography

Conspiracy

Like many of the raka members of the conspiracy, Quedanga was probably raised with it since her infancy. It is also likely that she served the Temaida family, and came to the Balitangs with Chenaol and Ulasim when Sarugani Temaida married Mequen Balitang. Quedanga rose through the ranks of the conspiracy, and became the head of communications and part of the leadership.

When the Balitangs were exiled by King Oron, Quedanga stayed in Rajmuat so she could gather intelligence in the capital and send it to the conspirators who stayed with the Balitangs for their protection.[1]

Quedanga also sent along rumors and gossip in Rajmuat in order to try to discredit the regents and sow discord against the Rittevon family.[2] During this time, she worked very closely with Ysul, a member of The Chain.

Appearances

Quedanga only appears in Trickster's Queen.
