The Mares With Bloody Teeth are centaur goddesses of vengeance. In Squire, Macorm, a renegade who let a party of centaurs and humans into Haresfield for a raid, was told he would be culled at sunset in their honour, and that they would eat his heart (whether this refers to the Mares With Bloody Teeth or the centaurs is unclear).
