Princess Mahira Lymanis[1] Tasikhe was the wife of Prince Apodan, and the mother of Ozorne Tasikhe. She gave birth to the future emperor in 422 HE. Through her daughter, Princess Fazia, Mahira is the maternal grandmother of Emperor Kaddar, and a paternal great-grandmother of Crown Prince Binur.
Biography
Marriage and children
Mahira married Prince Apodan, a member of the imperial house of Tasikhe. She had one son, and a few daughters with him, including Princess Fazia.
Death of her husband
Her husband was killed by Sirajit rebels in 433 HE, when her son was eleven years of age. She rarely made public appearances, and when she did it was considered remarkable.[2]
Princess Mahira remained angry at the Sirajit people, referring to all of them as "dogs". Her son likely learned this way of thinking from her example. She was glad to meet such a strong mage as Arram Draper, as she said her son needed strong mages to enact vengeance on the Sirajit for her husband's murder.[3]
Physical Description
Princess Mahira was very beautiful. She had ivory skin like her son, hazel eyes, and dark brown hair. [3]
Personality and traits
Mahira wanted to have vengeance on the Sirajit because of her husband's murder, even though the rebels had already been quashed. She had a tendency to trail off and stare in the distance if she thought about the loss of her husband.[3]
