Halef Seif (pronounced HAH-leff SIGHf) is the headman of the Bloody Hawk who befriends Alanna when she joins his tribe. He later sends her on the quest that leads her to the Dominion Jewel after Alanna finds a woman about to be burned at a neighboring tribe.
