Graeme of Aspen Vale is a Tortallan nobleman who lived during the 3rd century HE. He holds the title Baron of Aspen Vale[1]. According to custom, he is likely a Knight of Tortall, as he inherited a fiefdom.

Biography

Conspiracy

He was one of the many noble members of Prince Baird's conspiracy to overthrow King Roger II and to kidnap Prince Gareth. His brother, a powerful orange-robe mage, Elyot of Aspen Vale, also participated in this treasonous plot.

Aspen Vale provided fighters and monetary aid for the conspiracy. It was revealed later that the mastermind behind the plot was Thanen of Halleburn, who planned everything and likely convinced Prince Baird to betray his family. The noble members of the conspiracy fell when Fief Halleburn was besieged by Crown loyalists such as the Earl of King's Reach, Fief Hannalof, Fief Korpita, and Fief Lisbethan.

Upon his capture, Baron Graeme was likely stripped of his title and lands and sentenced to death.

Physical description

The baron was in his mid-thirties, with brown hair, rounded chin, a sharp nose, and a thin mouth. He shared many of his facial features with his brother, Elyot, except for his chin[2].
