Corporal Fulcher (pronounced FULL-chur) served in the Third Company of the King's Own in Sergeant Domitan's squad. He died in 460 HE, during the battle at Fief Rathhausak.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Not much is known about Fulcher's early life or when he joined the King's Own.

Dom's Squad[]

Before his promotion to corporal, Fulcher was a regular member in Sergeant Dom's squad. Before the official declaration of the Scanran War in 460 HE, the Third Company was stationed at the Scanran border to fight raiding parties in 459. Fulcher was promoted to Corporal some time between the the end of "Squire" and the beginning of "Lady Knight". He and Wolset were both promoted following the deaths of Dom's previous two corporals, Symric and Derom. He, along with Keladry of Mindelan and the rest of the squad, defeated one of the killing devices.

Corporal in Dom's Squad[]

Fulcher was promoted to corporal after Kel left to take her Ordeal to become a knight of the realm. He, along with Dom and the rest of the squad, were at Haven to greet Kel and to work. Before that, they were stationed at Fort Giantkiller.

After Stenmun and a few killing devices captured the Haven refugees while Kel was away and reporting to Wyldon of Cavall, the district commander and her former training master, Kel ran away to find them and kill Blayce the Gallan. Lord Raoul, the Knight Commander of the King's Own, sent Dom's squad after her, in order to help her with whatever she was going there to do. When Kel got irate that they were breaking the laws for her, Fulcher explained that they hadn't gone crazy and were under orders from Lord Raoul.

He did not survive the battle at Castle Rathhausak.

Physical Description[]

He is taller than his counterpart, Corporal Wolset.

Personality & Traits[]

He is described as the ballast to Wolset's brains, and they work well together.
