Fortress Wei is a Saren outpost on the eastern bank of the M'kon River that forms the eastern border of Sarain where it meets the Roof of the World. The fortress is three days' ride northeast of Rachia, the capital of Sarain. East beyond the fortress is hill country between the river and the mountains of the Roof. There is no single government that rules east of the M'kon.[1]
Alanna, Coram, Liam, Thayet, and Buri passed by the fortress on their way north toward Chitral Pass in their search for the Dominion Jewel in May, 439 HE.[1][2]
