Durward was a gambler and merchant. His business partner was called Talbot. In late summer of 247 HE they hired Philben Cooper to cart bales of Copper Isles silk from the Merry Molly at the docks to Starshine Warehouses in Corus. Afterwards they paid Philben with false money.[1]

He never appears in any of the novels but has only been mentioned by Philben Cooper to his younger cousin Rebakah Cooper when she questioned him about the false coins at the beginning of Bloodhound.
