The Dragonlands were a region in the Divine Realms, inhabited almost soley by dragons. The Dragonlands were set apart from the rest of the Divine Realms by the Sea of Sand, a gigantic desert that was very difficult to cross. In addition to the heat, the desert provided additional hazards through its inhabitants: Stormwings. Being neighbours, Stormwings were on good terms with dragons. The desert was not the only protection of the Dragonlands--they were also surronded by a giant magical wall. It is apparently sentient, as it responds to and communicates with outsiders.
Daine and Numair went to the Dragonlands after they were transported into the Divine Realms. They hoped that the Dragons would help them to return to the Mortal Realms during the Battle of Port Caynn in the Immortals War.
