Master Cosmas Sunyat was a Carthaki mage and the headmaster of the School for Mages in the Imperial University of Carthak.

Biography

Cosmas and his colleague, Sebo Orimiri, both came to the rescue when Arram Draper accidentally caused a flood in his classroom in a lesson with Girisunika, another teacher at the School for Mages. After the incident, Cosmas and a bunch of his colleagues decided to remove Arram from the regular curriculum and advance him, creating a special curriculum designed for his powers.[1]

He also taught a variety of subjects at the university, although it is unknown if he only did one-on-one courses with advanced students. He advanced Arram to a semi-independent level at the Lower Academy immediately after the incident with Girisunika. He started teaching Arram specific subjects in the Summer Term of 436 HE, which he did alongside Ozorne Tasikhe and Varice Kingsford. He taught protective circles for several terms,[2] then moved on to Fire Magic the next year in the Summer Term of 437 HE, and continued through the Autumn Term into the Spring Term of 438.[3]
