Blayce the Gallan (BLAYSS) was a powerful mage. Kel also referred to him as The Nothing Man because his wasn't an imposing appearance. She first saw him in a vision in The Chamber of Ordeal during her ordeal of Knighthood. As suggested by his name he originates from Galla. He studied at the City of the Gods but was kicked out for practicing dark magic and necromancy. In the Scanran War Blayce created killing devices which were powered with the souls of dead children; his devices supported the Scanrans, doing great damage to the Tortallan forces because the devices were brutal and savage. Stenmun was under his employment, and was charged with supplying Blayce with new children so he could create more devices. Blayce was eventually killed by Keladry of Mindelan.
Physical description
Blayce is about five feet tall and has a long nose and a narrow mouth. His small eyes blink rapidly and his hair is of a dull brown color. His clothes and hair are unkempt.[1]
