Beldeal was a Tortallan commoner of the 3rd century HE. She was headwoman of a small village located in War Gorge Marsh, the marshland of the Three Rivers Province in northern Tortall. The marshland was surrounded by the rivers Halseander and Banas.
Rebakah Cooper noted that Beldeal had a very narrow view of the world.[1] Farmer Cape noted that she was an excellent cook, but very disagreeable.
